All Miis must use WiiU Guest Miis, no other custom Miis are allowed. All custom moves are legal but the Mii must be named in accordance with their moveset and Mii Type (E.G: 2132B is a Brawler-Type Mii with no.2 Neutral Special, no.1 Side Special, no.3 Up Special and no.2 Down Special).

During Doubles, players must choose their colours to match their teammate, preferably also their team colour. Players must also avoid choosing colours that conflict with the opposing team.

Controller Legality: WiiU Gamepad is not permitted to be used as a tournament controller, but all other controllers are legal. Anyone using a Wiimote, Wiimote&Nunchuck, Classic, Classic Pro, and WiiU Pro controller must remove their batteries in order to use them at this tournament, in order to stop disruption. Failure to do so can result in a disqualification. DSR is not in effect.

After a player/team has won a game, then the winning player/team may ban up to 2 stages affecting the current counterpick.

Players may mutually agree to play their game on another stage (Gentleman’s Clause).

Stalling Clause: Excessive refusal to engage the opponent may result in a forfeited match by the TO. If both players refuse to engage, the player with the highest damage percentage or lowest stock count will be penalized accordingly by this clause.

Timer: Timers are to be provided to players by the TO or volunteer and set to 8 minutes per game. Once your game is over, please call a nearby volunteer to reset your timer, then start it at the beginning of the next game.

Neutral Start: By request, players will insert their controllers into Ports 2 and 4 for a neutral start.

Controller Legality: Any wired and/or customized controller which includes: 64 Controller, Keyboard, Gamecube Controller, or HORI Mini Pad. Controllers with a Macro or Turbo function will result in the player’s immediate disqualification. Adaptors may be used for the sake of allowing players to use their controllers only if both are wired.

Code of Conduct
• All ejections or disqualifications due to violations of the Code of Conduct or individual game rules will be without refund.
• No alcohol or illegal substances inside the venue. Getting caught with these items or evidence of the presence of these items will result in disqualification from the event and eviction from the venue.
• We have also chosen to ban nuts, including almonds, hazel nuts, peanuts etc., inside the venue in respect of people with severe allergies.
• No fighting or weaponry inside the venue. Throwing controllers or acting in a way that could pose a danger to other players will result in disqualification from the event and eviction from the venue.
• No refusal to play on certain setups barring extreme circumstances. All players agree to have their matches recorded if requested by the TOs.
• All disqualifications due to tardiness will be complete DQs, meaning the disqualified player will be removed from both winners and losers bracket.
• The TOs are granted license to use any and all types of video that you may be present in at the event, including camera recordings, livestream broadcasts, and captured gameplay footage.
• The TOs are granted license to photograph your image, likeness, or depiction at the event, and you waive any claim for compensation for the event’s use or publication of photographs taken of you.
• The TOs reserves the right to deny entry into the tournament to any player suspected of committing anything considered a crime or acting in a manner that is detrimental to the integrity of the event.
• The TOs reserves the right to deny payout from event winnings to any player suspected of intentionally throwing a match, splitting a payout, or committing any other form of bracket manipulation.
• The TOs reserves the right to settle any unforeseen situations that may occur, and their judgment is final. In extreme situations, rules may be altered between phases of a tournament in the best interests of the event.
